Job Title: Director, Strategic Accounts - weather.com

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Director, Strategic Accounts will manage relationships with weather.com partners across web, wireless, broadband, email, desktop and other platforms. This individual will define strategic goals and contractual obligations for each relationship and pro-actively develop relationship to meet those goals and obligations. He or she will help promote all weather.com platforms to partners only using some of them. The Director, Strategic Accounts will also meet with largest partners on a periodic basic to monitor and improve results of partnership. This individual will position for and negotiate terms of contract renewals. He or she will manage a team of project and account managers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop detailed project plan that encompasses all tasks needed to carryout contractual obligations and strategic goals of the partnership.

Meet monthly with key partners to monitor results of the partnership and identify new opportunities to maximize the value of their relationship with weather.com.

Monitor results monthly; maintain team scorecard and report to management as instructed.

Establish systems for the implementation of tracking and evaluation of product/partner performance including budgets, timelines, and referrals.

 

QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge/ Skills/ Education):

BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing (Masters preferred).

Minimum of 5 years combined experience in customer service, and/or sales support, project management, and product development.

2 years of Project Management experience.

Experience with developing and implementing Internet marketing programs/projects.

Budget and P&L experience.

Ability to maintain productive business relationships.

Superior interpersonal, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

Very detail orientated, with ability to prioritize.

Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment.

Problem solver and facilitator.

Business planning, forecasting, and analytical skills.
