

Job Title: Regional Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Regional Manager will achieve revenue objectives for the territory and the company in total. He or she will contribute to the development and execution of successful sales strategies and tactics. This individual will build and maintain positive business relationships with key customers in the territory. The Regional Manager will provide the leadership and personnel development opportunity for all members of the staff and conduct effective performance appraisals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hire and train highly qualified people.
Execute all stewardship responsibilities accurately and on time.
Produce reports accurately and on time.
Project revenue on a weekly basis.
Make account pricing decisions within parameters set by the VP of Advertising Sales.
Review all proposals and orders.
Review commission statements for accuracy.
Assist with collection of past due accounts.
Maintain in depth knowledge of competition in the market.
Manage expense budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge/ Skills/ Education):
A documentable track record of high performance in media sales and management, preferably the national cable industry.
A working knowledge of the internet and online advertising sales concepts and techniques.
Demonstrated ability to conceive and execute effective multi-media promotional marketing programs.
Knowledge of key customers residing in the region.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
College degree required (post-graduate degree preferred).
